RAD Solutions: RIB STOCK MOVEMENT ISSUE (STOM)
Stock Movement Issue (STOM) is a Radio Inventory Bridge (RIB) module for EFACS that allows you to perform ad-hoc issuing of stock directly from a handheld device, similar to that of the ISSUE button in the EFACS Stock Movements screen.
The RIB module updates the inventory level as and when the stock is issued. Use of the standard EFACS ERP module typically requires that the details of the issue are relayed from stores to an administrative department to be re-keyed in EFACS. This can create a time difference in processing resulting in EFACS inventory levels no longer holding a real-time representation of actual stock levels.
The module supports issuing of Fixed, Multi and Traceable stock from the EFACS inventory. As with standard EFACS ERP, if a works order number is used in the reference field then it provides a means of capturing additional raw material costs against an EFACS works order.
As with all standard EFACS RIB modules, the RIB administrator can create additional templates to cater for scenarios such as repetitive issues from stock warehouse / locations. Templates could be created for each warehouse location combination meaning the user is only prompted for stock, quantity, batch and reference.
