RAD Software Solutions: SEARCHABLE CD compliant with EFACS ERP
Searchable CD is an additional Module available to File Stream customers which allows a user with the appropriate permission to quickly and easily export collections of files and their contained documents to a CD Rom, which can then be browsed by a non-File Stream user.
The purpose of the Searchable CD module is to:
- Give File Stream users the ability to create independent archives of documents for another user or group of users that does not have local client or online access to File Stream.
- Avoid consuming unnecessary File Stream Licenses for temporary and/or infrequent users.
- Allow you, as a supplier, to offer an enhanced document archive service to your customers, such as a CD at the end of the month which contains a reference copy of all of the paperwork generated between you.
There are many practical applications for the Searchable CD module.
One of the most common forms of usage is to regularly provide customers or suppliers with copies of POD (Proof Of Delivery) paperwork as a professional and cost effective way to assist in resolving delivery disputes.
The Searchable CD Module provides a simple and efficient method of distribution for organisations that regularly update and issue staff training documents, personnel records, health and safety information or quality control documents
The module is also particularly useful for organisations that offer time and attendance based services. For instance, Accountants and Solicitors that use File Steam can travel to and from their clients whilst accessing all relevant documents in a searchable format from a local desktop pc or laptop which is not web connected.
